The kit behind a flawless, low-dust finish

Continuous-belt sanders, multi-disc finishers, edge and stair sanders – all connected to professional extraction. Honestly around 98–99% dust-free.

Honest about dust

Why we never say '100% dust-free'

Many companies claim to be ‘dust free’, but that simply isn't true. Today's machines have a very high dust extraction capacity – we'd put it at 98–99% – and you may still find a little surface dust at the end of the job.

We make every effort to clean all the dust before we finish. Once we've gone, a little can still settle over the next few days, but it's very minimal – and our continuous-belt machines mean no barrel marks in your floor.

Lägler HUMMEL

The original belt floor sander – the world's first, launched in 1969 – and still the benchmark for flat, fast, even sanding.

As a Lägler-certified tradesman, Darren knows the HUMMEL inside out. Its continuous belt means no barrel or chatter marks, adjustable drum pressure gives precise control on soft pine or dense oak, and high extraction capacity keeps dust to a minimum. It's the machine that does the heavy lifting: stripping old coatings and flattening cupped or uneven boards.

  • Continuous belt – no barrel marks
  • Flattens cupped and uneven boards
  • Strips old coatings quickly
  • High extraction capacity for low dust

Lägler TRIO

A three-disc finishing sander for a premium, scratch-free surface – the secret to flawless parquet, oils and stains.

After belt sanding, the TRIO's three counter-rotating discs remove the scratch pattern and leave a smooth, non-directional surface. That matters most on parquet and herringbone, where the grain changes direction, and before oils and stains, which show every imperfection. Its integrated filter system makes it almost dust-free.

  • Removes belt-sanding scratches
  • Perfect for parquet and herringbone
  • Ideal preparation for oil and stain
  • Sands close to the edges

Bona DCS 70

Two-stage cyclonic dust containment that captures dust at source and empties into sealed bags.

The DCS 70 connects to our sanders and pulls dust away as it's created. Two-step cyclonic separation and the Longopac continuous bag system mean the dust goes into sealed bags – including when they're changed. It's why we can honestly say our sanding is around 98–99% dust-free. You can spot the DCS working in our Wimbledon RFC and Surbiton photos.

  • Dust captured at source
  • Cleaner home, healthier air
  • Fewer particles in the finish
