Wood type
Engineered oak combines a real oak top layer with a stable core. We fit it, and with the right approach many engineered floors can be refreshed or transformed.
Up close
Engineered boards are ideal for wide planks and modern homes because they stay stable. When it comes to sanding, the thickness of the real-wood wear layer is everything – we check it first and use a controlled, minimal-removal approach, or recommend a buff-and-recoat if that's the better option.
